Carrying Estimates Over to the Next Day

 

Overview

This article describes how to instruct the system to automatically carry over estimates to the next day if they haven’t yet been turned into invoices.

 

Instructions

From the StockTrac® main menu, go into the Point-of-Sale module.

From the drop-down menu at the top of the screen, click Setup –> Estimate Status. The following screen will display:

Each status has a field next to it labeled “Carry To Next Day”. To automatically carry estimates over to the next day, check that box next to “Estimate”.

Click OK at the bottom of the screen to save the changes.

NOTE: If estimates are not marked to carry over to the next day, they will be available in the “All Estimates” tab on a ticket for the length of time defined in the Estimate Hold Days field (Configuration module, Custom Settings, Miscellaneous tab).
