Retrieving a Customer by Their Plate Number



This article describes how to locate a customer in your database by their license plate number. This assumes the customer and vehicle are already entered in StockTrac®.



From the main StockTrac® menu, go into the Point-of-Sale module.

Click the New Ticket button.


The Customer Lookup screen will display. Click the Vehicle button.


Begin typing the plate number. The system will fill in the plate closest to what you have typed in. When you find the desired plate, highlight it, and click OK.


The customer and vehicle information will then display on the screen. Continue with the ticket as usual.
